Nope. I believe they are stepping out while the mess is cleaned up before the Tribunal is reconvened.

I have to say the introduction of dopplegangers is going to do wonders for the Governor's raging paranoia

Yep, the tribunal is re-convening the following day.  No doubt that will be an interesting experience for all. ;)

The PONTIFF did the channeling. No elves were involved.

No elves were harmed during the exorcism of evil.

No elves were harmed during this exorcism of evil.  Generally of course harming the elves is the point of the exorcism.

 Venting:
I love the fact that GeM was convicted for doing too litle too late against ToG, when she were the first to publicly declare ToG heretics, and the first to use military force against ToG temples.

Next time I so much as hear a rumor that a temple might possibly be heretic the only prudent thing to do would be to burn it to the ground.

Just fustration... :P

All in all a very interesting trial though, so I am entertained

I thought it was touch and go for a while, but when the jury is made up of either your enemies or those loosely allied with your enemies- your probably going to get shafted.

Taking a combination of the way the Pontiff was going about things and how the first day went, I was inclined to think Geraldine was going to come out of the whole affair weakened and with less influence/power, but alive.  I'm still not convinced she will burn at the stake (or be beheaded) but things aren't looking as good as they were 24 hours ago that's for sure.

One slight possibility for hope is that the Pontiff will do something that will so outrage other regents attending that the tribunal falls apart - don't know what that might be though, perhaps personally moving to annex Ilien as his own personal domain instead of acknowledging Diemed's claim?

Or wrapped up other realms to do the actually dirty work.  Nonetheless, we may be witnessing the death kneels of the Conclave all the same... ;)

Oh I don't think the Arch Prelate will allow that to happen before he's got his chance at Anuirean loot  ;D
The Conclave I believe will prove "too big to fail"

Quite possible given that (from what I can tell) one of the Pontiff's biggest or most influential detractors is due to become the next pontiff very shortly.  I suspect any dispute will be personalised rather than focusing on the pontifical office itself.
