Regency use and abuse

Is it possible to see who curse you and who bless you and for what posts the blessing or the curse derives?

Not directly, but I can look through the action logs of each username and see what they've done.

So if we have a suspect I could always do some electronic digging...

I believe you have better things to do. As I understand it cursing should be something happening very seldom but never the less I have been cursed rather a lot ever since the debate about goblin and blod theft came up. The latest incidence of cursing been after some weeks where I have posted nothing at all.

I must admit it rather annoys me and I for one would be perfectly happy if the option of giving negative regency by use of curse was completely removed and only the positive aspect as per blessing was possible.

If this is something only I want I think it should just be left alone and above all I think not you should waste your time digging into old logs - but if you can turn off curse option with ease I would appreciate.

Well...that was the intention...to curse but rarely; but if the option is there, I can't really prevent its use.

Anyway, I'm sure that some of your statements have annoyed some people - the reason is simple; the more you say, the bigger the chance that someone thinks your an annoying bugger.

That said, I too find it abusive is one or more players repeatedly curse you just because they disagree with you - however much they disagree.

True I have surely annoyed someone every now and then. However getting cursed when saying nothing for several weeks kinda gets to me.

Well Geir, just to try it out, I ran a test on you.

First I blessed you and you went from 3 to 4. Then I cursed you, and you dropped all the way to 2.

Then to make it good again, I blessed you, and you went up to 4.

So... Blessing and Curse have different weights, but I have no idea how they specificly works yet.

Also, its just now I even got the buttons to click on, they were not there until recently for me.

It's very likely because you can't curse and bless the same post at the same time?

Ahh, yes that might very well be it.

So basically each is worth 1 point.

BUT, if you have already cursed a post, it swings UP 2 points if you later bless it. First 1 point refunded for the Curse being removed, then another +1 point for the Bless.

Think you need >50 posts to be allowed to bless/curse.

LOL, so the regency thing encourages spamming as well as piss people off when they lose Regency. Oh this is awesome.  8)

On that note, I think it might be a good idea to show them separately.
