Realm Scrying Spell
« on: December 18, 2008, 01:11:30 AM »
I know that it'll be a little while before the realm spells are updated, but I am likely going to be casting Realm Scrying in turn 61, so I will assume we are going by the old rules.

Now, reading the spell, I have a few questions.

It works as an espionage action using source holdings, cool. I assume it obeys the normal rules for advantage (+0, +2, or +4), but does Harness apply?

Can one spend influence on the espionage action(s) gained through this spell? To increase chance of success? Can other source regents use influence to reduce the chance of success?

If influence can be used, can influence also be used when casting the spell somewhere where I have no sources?

Hardness [source] should apply.

Influence can be spent, and other source regents should be able to spend influence in opposition.

You can't spend influence where you have no holdings.

I assume that the spell provides Advantage [Temple, Source] and Hardiness [Temple, Source], is this correct?
