DM slightly out of touch (with reality)
« on: September 19, 2011, 06:17:08 PM »
Hi,

I’m just sending you this to update you on my status; I’m down with sinus-infection-thingy no. 1 2011. After a week and a half of taking care of sick kids/woman I finally succumbed…

I also bought a new house on Friday. I wasn’t really in the market…but there you go. So now I have to sell my apartment, fix up the new casa and then move…

I think it will be a rather busy autumn – so be patient with me!

No worries, I have all the time in the world.

Besides, the longer I have to wait, the better it will feel when Brosengae achieves world domination.

Bjorn, was that an occupy/invest action or contest/rule?

Or a create/rule combo?  Depends on the existing infrastructure really, I'd hope that his new vassals are friendly though, I don't have any but Niels and Osoer have had serious vassal problems so that sort of thing needs to be the subject of careful & repeated diplomacy.

As good ol' Albert said...

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

I understand that it can be dispelled with alcohol, drugs, or young children.

I can affirm the reality-destroying power of the latter.  After 3 nights in a row up until 5 AM with little Zoe, I'm expecting to entertain guests like a purple giraffe or talking hippo tonight.  If only for the benefit of their witty conversational skills.

For all that it's worth:

It gets better...in a few years those sleepless nights will be but a blurry memory. Something to contemplate if your having more children :D

Please, do not put words 'more' and 'children' next to each other where I can read them.  ;)
