the musician shipper
« on: February 24, 2010, 11:18:14 AM »
Hi all, I dont know if it's the right place to present myself, if I am
breaking some rule, may the dm grant me forgiveness.

You already know my name, I'm french (nobody is perfect), student
(normal school of music, in paris, i play the cello), and role playing
game lover(shadowrun, add, stormbringer...) . I am not used to pbem,
so it will be my first time. But dont think I'm some blushing maid
only cause i'm a little shy on the net, irl I'm a naughty hardened
musician  who can even play modern, ears-ripping, skull shattering
music. And without artificial effects.
(In fact I dont oft play this kind of music, I am not already able to
avoid being affected by the described effects).

Nice to meet you ;D

Welcome,

We are likely entering into a phase with more PvP (Player vs Player) action then what have been seen of late. New players will get protection from the DM so there is no need for immediate worry.

Here is a short advice: Read the info you get on your domain, aim to reach some of the goals described there. Later you may have some spare actions to do other stuff.

See you onboard mate.

PS: Don't worry so much about PvP at this moment, you have a lot of PvE issues to work with  ;D

Now we only need someone for Mhoried; I see Iasonas around the forum from time to time, but he isn't responding...

Welcome!

And also, I'll absorb Mhoried into Elinie. Yes. That will work nicely.  :)

Welcome to the game Quentin!  I'm your friendly local temple, always ready to help a romping heathen merchant find grace, etc, etc.

Alas Iasonas, but we have a new Mhor and new Domain guild as well, so Mhoried is rapidly filling up again.  I note in passing that theocracies are by definition always part of god's plan..

Also I have no idea what the Azrai loving stake-bait honoured court mage is complaining about, not having someone to co-operate with, the church is always interested in co-operating with wizards.  Why once our local little difficulties are ironed out and the Aegis has resolved some outstanding doctrinal points with various other allied-but-clearly-wrong temples we'll have to catch up and have a heart to heart...

So much love... I can cope with wizzard and priests as well, but, who knows why I feel that priests and traders share more things than traders and wizards. Love of money?

I'm happy to see how loyal and straightforward minded you are. All this confidence, smiles, gifts and bona fide is amazing...

I'll keep a crossbow under my bed (if one of these fair underlings of yours wants a friendly competition) and a score of guards in front of my door (to pour some tea if I have night visitors).

I'd prefer Earl Gray, and ideally cognac (brandy could work as well).

So, do you feel ready for some IC action?

I'm ready for action, not necessary bloodshed. I hate the sight of spilled blood, especially mine. But from time to time a good slaughter is not bad...
