When figuring how much damage the Boer army has taken you need to think abouth the following:The fought two battles (both won) before YOU started fighting themThey were described as taking LESS (enough to be noticeable) damage than you during the hill battle. They also took less damage during the Carr battle.
Well, it's all in the eye of the beholder. The east has never really cared much for the Boer-Avan conflict. It's too far away. The Heartlands has always looked to both with unease, seeing as their wars often spill over. Diem used his alliance with Avan to build a strong army able to defeat both Guilder Kalien of Endier and Suris Enlien of Medoere.
Quote from: IHH/Pontiff Wallac Isilviere (Kasper) on June 08, 2009, 03:25:18 PMTerrific job its much appreciated - afterall you're defending us all I'm pretty sure most of the north west of Anuire would disagree...In my mind, I picture Brandon Boer reading reports from the last battles. When done, he'll turn to his generals and demand to know why, when taking position on the hill, they had not thought to check the background of enemy commanders and their previous experience with suicidal runs uphill against fortified positions at the break of first light. He'll then order his archers to shoot at blond-haired paladins at the outset of every battle, to avoid such obviously stupid acts of heroic self-sacrifice in the future, as nothing good could ever come from leading by example in such a way (it's just uncivilized you know).

Thorsten this was purely from an OoC point of viev - no players are represented on the Boer side (as far as I know) - IHH certainly dont intend to take any sides in this conflict and plan to steer clear of it by all means. While we are at it general plan for IHH is not to get caught up in conflicts between sovereigns

Poor Mercs probably think they're being sent to another meat grinder at this stage.
Hmm, very cost effective I'd say, send them out to soak up the giants and spells, save on the upkeep and don't lose anyone with a mother back home...Of course future hires might get a bit tricky.
Contact point 26.7 f:Will there be giants? If so, pay is double for that season...
