When figuring how much damage the Boer army has taken you need to think abouth the following:

The fought two battles (both won) before YOU started fighting them
They were described as taking LESS (enough to be noticeable) damage than you during the hill battle.
They also took less damage during the Carr battle.

In your dreams! And quite a few people's nightmares...  :P

Hey, let a player have his dreams! Now if only I had asked to have that as an agenda :)

Yeah... that's why I think we're more or less even now, what with reinforcements from Carrida and all.  :)

Well, it's all in the eye of the beholder. The east has never really cared much for the Boer-Avan conflict. It's too far away. The Heartlands has always looked to both with unease, seeing as their wars often spill over. Diem used his alliance with Avan to build a strong army able to defeat both Guilder Kalien of Endier and Suris Enlien of Medoere.

It never actually came to war between Diemed and Endier. Count Kalien came to his senses and bent his knee before the most reasonable Duke Diem. It was all thanks to to Cardinal Briesen actually. For once the OIT did something that REALLY helped Diemed  ;D

Sorry for going entirely off topic, but oh the sweet memories.  8)

Terrific job its much appreciated - afterall you're defending us all  ;D

I'm pretty sure most of the north west of Anuire would disagree...

In my mind, I picture Brandon Boer reading reports from the last battles. When done, he'll turn to his generals and demand to know why, when taking position on the hill, they had not thought to check the background of enemy commanders and their previous experience with suicidal runs uphill against fortified positions at the break of first light.

He'll then order his archers to shoot at blond-haired paladins at the outset of every battle, to avoid such obviously stupid acts of heroic self-sacrifice in the future, as nothing good could ever come from leading by example in such a way (it's just uncivilized you know).  ::)

Thorsten this was purely from an OoC point of viev - no players are represented on the Boer side (as far as I know) - IHH certainly dont intend to take any sides in this conflict and plan to steer clear of it by all means. While we are at it general plan for IHH is not to get caught up in conflicts between sovereigns

I know, I know... that's why we're in the ooc-section :P
I just couldn't help but swing jab in your direction :D

On a side note, Tuornen lost her husband in the war, so some players have assets among Boeruine's assets it seems :P

You know it's been a rough day in the office when most of the forces sent out are Exhausted. Poor Mercs probably think they're being sent to another meat grinder at this stage.  ;D

Hmm, very cost effective I'd say, send them out to soak up the giants and spells, save on the upkeep and don't lose anyone with a mother back home...

Of course future hires might get a bit tricky.

No worries there, I won't be able to afford mercs for a loooong time... so by then it'll be like their childrens children, and all this will be long forgotten :P

Be careful with those olde-style maps - delete any mention of 'here there be dragons'...

Did they just slaughter 15 of your units?
