Grave news from Serien:

Lord Zenneth has been slain by vicious gnoll raiders! All of Mieres is in turmoil. Is this the start of a new invasion?

The Governor of Mieres is quite open to discuss this topic with anyone who asks, and indicates to those who do that the situation, while sad, is being 'handled' and that Mieres is most certainly not in turmoil.

He will also point out that his most trusted servant Kenneth Kirr was able to route the Gnolls completely from his own lands this past season.

Baron Kaven indicates a wish to learn what he can about the Gnoll raiders, and offers his experience in fighting them as well as his views on how Mieres could increase their internal safety in regards to Gnollish movements.

In response to Baron Kaven's inquiries the Governor indicates that he appreciates the offer of aid from the good Baron.  He indicates his men are currently assessing the situation and preparing for the worst, and that if help is required he will most certainly take the Baron up on his offer.
