I imagine they've cast on of the following spell on you:

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/zoneOfTruth.htm

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/discernLies.htm

Most likely discern lies... The ETN needs to define what they're doing, if it's something to do with the rules at least. Just read up on the spell and roll with it :)

Something like that. Plus Maire tries to read Geraldine's aura/soul and detect any possible shadow taint. Not sure if it is in rules, but Nesirie has souls in her portfolio, so some fancy divination of that kind could be available. And for convenience, she makes it publicly visible.

It's an illusion to make it look like el-Mesir actually has a soul!

Damn, you got me. Who told you?  :)

What about throwing a rock at her? And see what happens? Could solve everything...

Or throw her in the river.  If she floats she's obviously guilty and needs to burn. :)

Hmm, I was going to say she's obviously a witch and therefore needs to burn but these days I find myself rather tolerant of witches ...

I got it covered. I did vouch for the guy after all - might as well get him in on the important insider-jokes.  :D

Next on the agenda: explaining why Bobby should never be allowed near sharp objects.  ;D

On the contrary, Thor - my predilections make it EXTREMELY unlikely I'll hurt anyone with sharp objects of any kind.  I'm the safest person here to hold them!

Alright, alright yes I through a rock at an extremely powerful and mysterious magical artifact.  However let's be clear, the Governor only resorted to throwing rocks at it because all the priests and wizards in the party (you know, the people who should have an idea of what to do with it) just sat around looking at each other saying, "So what do you want to do now? - "I dunno, what do you want to do? - I dunno, should we do something with this thing we've trekked across miles of wilderness to see? - I dunno what do you think?"

I respectfully disagree. It is extremely unlikely you'll hurt anyone with sharp objects of any kind... intentionally. There's no saying what kind of hurt you could do by a minor slip at the wrong time and in the wrong place.
It's kinda along the same line of reasoning as when mothers tell their offspring not to run with scissors, actually.

So... basically you threw the rock out of boredom? :P

hmmm.... yeah now that I think of it that doesn't really make it sound any better does it?  Though it was less boredom and more sarcasm.

Shouldn't you guys be posting sarcastic comments of little substance in the main tribunal-thread?  ::)

Hell no! :o  I no longer have a voting seat, and I specifically remember His Holiness John Gustafson saying something about tongues being cut out for speaking out of turn.
