Roads

Hi,

looking at the map where roads are shown I've founde some in red colour and some in white..

What is the difference?

The white "roads" are not roads, but markers for impassable terrain.

But march armies down the white "roads", please do... it will be amusing for whoever they were being marched at!

The Roads & Features map needs some work for RoE II - now it basically shows a mix of old Imperial highways, important trade routes etc. It doesn't give a clear picture of real functioning highways (or roads in low-level provinces).

If you need a hand with that, i feel certain i could help out. (provided i get info on what goes where)
I'm not superman with graphics (i'm not superman at all!), but i know my way around photoshop.

The new road map will have major roads (those that aren't simply a function of province level) marked in red, while highways will be marked in purple.

A lot of the major roads show and old Imperial highways that have been reduced to roads because upkeep was not paid. In mire rugged terrain this might mean that even the road has disappeared.
