I think it is time to announce that RoE3 isn't going to happen as planned. I haven't heard from Matt in a very long time and he hasn't been logged in for ages. Not sure how much contact Andy has had, but it is not sufficient to retain any hope of the game suddenly resuming it's forward momentum.
That said RoE3 might still happen, but in another form. I mean the basics are already in place and lots of people have expressed an interest in playing. So there could still be a RoE3, but with a new DM team. Maybe Andy is willing to shoulder the burden of being lead DM? Or maybe someone else will step forward.
If not I would like to put RoE3 on ice - for now. The concept and the work done...it can be reused at a later date. So RoE3 might not happen NOW, but it could still happen in the future.
Unfortunately that option leaves us without a PbeM. I'm not willing to DM ATM, but perhaps someone else is willing and has a concept the wish to explore? I know Brandon has something tentative in the works. Maybe he's ready to announce something. Or maybe there is someone else with a DM inside, wanting to burst forth?
