Response from yahoo; asking for stuff I'm not sure I wantr to bother with:
Hello,
Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Mail.
We appreciate your responses to the questionnaire. However, we will need
clarification on the items below. Please note that if you are not the
administrator for the mail server (domain) affected, we encourage you to
contact the administrator, so they can address the possible issues
regarding mailings from the mail server.
1. The specific domain name and IP address(es) of the email machines
that experienced the delivery issue when trying to send to Yahoo! Mail.
IP address:
Domain name:
DNS shows:
2. The results of a DNS & RDNS query for the mail server with delivery
issues showing that you are resolving IP and domain name correctly. Your
mail server IP reverse DNS should reflect your domain in the name.
The server should have a fully qualified hostname (FQDN). The hostname
should resolve to an A record (DNS). The IP address should resolve to
the server domain name (RDNS). The MX record for the domain for which
you wish to receive mail should point to the domain name of your
dedicated mail server. There should be a PTR record for the IP address
of your server.
We greatly appreciate your assistance and patience.
Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Mail. Your case number for this
issue is 78830207. Please reference it in all future communication about
this particular issue.
Regards,
Hank

Hi,
I'm running a forum/mail-based interactive game; several of my
players (I think there are 4 total) are unfortunate enough to have
@yahoo.XX emails.
I suspect that a number of monthly newsletters may be the cause of the
problem. Although I fail to see what yhaoo feels a need to bock a
handful of mails each moth directed at a handful of subscribed
recipients.
I am no longer able to reach those players due to yahoo's policies.
I've suggested that they dump their yahoo account in favor of
something more flexible, but several of them have grown attacked to
their accounts.
So if you could un-blacklist me it would be appreciated.
Bjørn
