The DM's are discussing to remove the grace period as of now. Any thoughts before we decide?

NOOOOOOOOO....  :o

I take it you wish the grace period to be removed  ;D

Well... you caught me  :P . Seriously now, my character has not invested in that period. In fact he has longterm plans that are not dependent on the 4 turn grace period window that you allowed us. So it won't be a huge deal.
After all our characters have no idea about the grace period (in character), so that announcement should actually change nothing in terms of long or short term planning.

On the other hand, 1 more turn of peace could do wonders for most of us I think.

No matter about taking off the grace period...

if DM are pondering about removing it in this turn probably they have good resons to do so

Well tbh I, this turn, had 3 seperate military actions in play.... I hardly feel like I am in a grace period :)

That and it may well be building a false comfort level for some of us.....

Now, when I messed up so nicely, I would really appreciate 1 turn of peace before all the vultures descend upon me :)

The end of the grace period would also mean an end to NPC domains not taking major action against you; so far all events have been fairly minor or PC-generated. That will chance, and NPC will be played to he fullest. There will also be more severe events. Just so you know  ;D

Egads... I'm guessing a fruit-basket and some complimentary hair-products from Medoere won't be enough to change the feelings of Boeruine and it's allies towards lil' old Kaven and his liege lord?  ::)

Heck, how about some nice free bundles of velvet for the Spider and his minions? No?

A silver-necklace for the Red Wind? ... Another no? Darn...  :D

I'd prefer if the deadline is not moved as a general rule... Some things would "better" if handled while the grace is still in effect.

Not that I'm paranoid or anything, but I AM going down to visit Osoerde this turn.  :)

Look, Royce was an anomaly.  Statistically speaking, fairly few of the regents who visit us are slaughtered without warning, reason, or mercy.   ::)

A reasonably significant Anomaly though. Enough to make one concerned for one's own safety!

Gasp!  Pontiff Isilviere was actually Marlae Raenech-Roesone in a mask all along!
