Eastern Temple of Nesirie
Thenial and the Obelisk: The High Priestess of the ETN went to see the Obelisk together with High Priestess the EOM, Pontiff Isilviere, Governor Vaumel, Baron Zenneth and Lady Mhistecai, hoping to resolve the issue once and for all. Now they have all disappeared and there are reports of gnolls swarming throughout Thenial.

Coeranys
And expedition from Coeranys under Baron Deaulen, the Rockhammer and Marquis Khaiarén, have been ambushed and destroyed by Orogs. The three scions have not been found, and it is assumed they are either dead or have been taken by the orogs to be slain by bloodtheft.

Osoerde
Nobles missing: Cardinal Diem and Baron Bellamie have returned from a secret expedition, their entourages much depleted, but neither Baron Tshalen nor Archduke Osoer were with them. Are they dead? Are they lost? Treachery?

Orthodox Temple of Haelyn
Cardinal Diem has been gone a long time, something to do with his quest to retrieve the Book of Laws. Many think that he is dead or that he’s failed to find the Book and dare not return to his court. The end result is religious schism…

Serien (House Zenneth)
While en route to join the Governor for a trip to the S&C, Baron Zenneth was ambushed by gnoll marauders and killed (see Mieres). Now Serien is in turmoil as the Baron left no heirs, and his Chancellor and right-hand-man is more than 70 winters of age and without legitimate children of his own.

Aerenwe
The Queen’s court session was supposed to be a modest affair, one aiming at taking care of things within the borders of Aerenwe. Now bards and traders are spreading the word – the Manslayer is loose in Aerenwe, and he has the power and courage to defy the Queen in her own court, slaying and insulting as he likes.

The Wardens
A call from the past: High Warden Lasarus, the Baron of Northvale, has left the Erebannien on a personal quest. He leaves the Wardens in the hands of his lieutenant Kierri Biersen – only now Biersen has been slain by the Manslayer, leaving the Wardens without a leader!

Endier & Knights of Haelyn
Lord Guy is said to have been killed leading an expedition into Alamie.

 :o :o :o :o

Remind me how it's supposed to get dangerous/tough from turn 65 onwards...  ;)

There go Robhan's plans, his diplomacy partner is missing presumed lost, his nephew needs rescuing/avenging, and his beloved is also awol.  What are the odds that the Grove still wants to tweak the Gorgon/Iron King's nose in midwinter?  :P

For the record I can account for my movements during the whole of the last turn as can several thousand witnesses. Can't have been anything to do with me. Guv'nor.  ;D

Hmm, now given they both wear head to toe steel stockings that would get difficult, not to mention noisy...  No, apparently in RoE1 Robbie and Maire were quite close, I'm lousy at forum love-in's though and have zero romance in my soul, so I've ignored it so far, but if Libor wants to drag Robbie in she could probably do so. Otherwise he will come looking when he finds out..

Now I need to find out if certain people are back so that I can find out what actions I need to do in #64.

It is not so bad after all. In such a turmoil, few will spend time and energy to investigate the rumour about undead in Thenial in depth. Good for Maire :P And if she employs some good PR then RW can be blamed for the whole thing and Maire can score some points as protector ans saviour 8)

Can we have some info, what happened at Caelcorwynn? I understand that it is remote area and backwater, but for those of us who have holdings there it is still of some importance.

And who is the Manslayer in Calrie? Rhuobhe?  ???

No, apparently in RoE1 Robbie and Maire were quite close, ...

That's an interesting info. What is the source of it?
And BTW what bloodline (and how strong) does Robhan have?  ;)

The source is my former self as it were, and from recollection his bloodline is major Anduiras - I forget the points but they'll be on the P&H.

You can read about alot of the old events in the old forum, link at the bottom of the page. Events from RoE I are not dogma for RoE II. However, you are welcome to use them if you so desire.

The short and sweet version of Marie and Robhan was one of politics. Cwyllmie wanted Royce to be the Pontiff and allied with Robhan in trying to convince Aurlien (of the OIT) to step aside. It failed miserably and Cwyllmie's mixed loyalty (publically claiming to be Orthodox, but really working with the Reformists) sparked the massive conflict between the ETN on one side and the OIT on the other.
 Robhan probably decided to stay well clear of the squabble, since he was in enough trouble on the homefront AND had a sizeable Orthodox expeditionary force to contend with.

 However, all that is conjecture. What actually happened is unknown. This is just a possible RoE I version.

Remind me how it's supposed to get dangerous/tough from turn 65 onwards...

It really did seem to be basically composed of things blowing up.  This SR needed to be headed by a copy of William Yeat's The Second Coming.

TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
