Noble houses
« on: November 20, 2008, 10:05:09 PM »
Not sure if you've noticed this, but a lot of the minor noble houses scattered around are actually taken (indirectly) from the RoE sourcebook - take the Nichaleir bloodline, a fine an strong one, it must come from somewhere! And since third+ sons and such might end up as priests, guilders or even wizards I think its natural that their families rule something somewhere...

See if you can spot any such houses, and tie them to the original BR regent...maybe you'll get a prize :)

Isn't one of Avanil's generals of the same line as the former Grand-Master of the KoH?

In fact....

"Archduke Carilon Alam weds former Grand-Maester of the KoH, Anasatiae Daulton"

" the Prince returns to his capital to raise yet another army to oppose Brandon in the south, leaving Lord Daulton to command"

That's right. Can you find references to more Daultons in RoE? I know of several more...

Well, well...there was one Knight-Marshal Merran Daulton, leader of the Iron Guard, who helped get rid of Gavin Tael. He was, for a brief time, Duke of Dhalaene.

And of course, House Roesone has a Daulton retainer as well...
