Alright, alright yes I through a rock at an extremely powerful and mysterious magical artifact.  However let's be clear, the Governor only resorted to throwing rocks at it because all the priests and wizards in the party (you know, the people who should have an idea of what to do with it) just sat around looking at each other saying, "So what do you want to do now? - "I dunno, what do you want to do? - I dunno, should we do something with this thing we've trekked across miles of wilderness to see? - I dunno what do you think?"

And my 'dropped' swords were, in fact, the consequence of my taking on incredibly powerful beings charged with dark magic in hand-to-hand combat without regard for my own safety, so what's your point?   :P  If we go around including the actual FACTS and DETAILS of our adventures, we won't have anything to mock each other about!

In the meantime, Thor, isn't it about time YOU did some adventuring and racked up some embarrassing stories of your own?  You're getting boring, otherwise.  ::)

I got it covered. I did vouch for the guy after all - might as well get him in on the important insider-jokes.  :D

Next on the agenda: explaining why Bobby should never be allowed near sharp objects.  ;D

I stand duly educated, thanks to Thorsten.  And very amused. :D

I have to say the introduction of dopplegangers is going to do wonders for the Governor's raging paranoia

Besides hindering our beloved Governors peace of mind the question is what will said introduction of dopplegangers do to the minds of the collective mind of Anuirean Nobility  :D

Sofar I could not have hoped for anymore!

Well, there could have been served cake, and the burning could have taken place outside... but aside from that, and the fact that it delayed my trial, I am pretty happy about how it went too ^_^

Geraldine sits quietly and watch the members of the tribunal as they are about to cast their votes.

The virgin witch looks hopeful but nervous. Her chains almost silent as the first vote, concerning the state of her soul, is about to be cast.

The Governor's gaze has not shifted from Marie during the proceeding.

For her lack of???

Somehow I expect, if we all strained really hard to hear, we would all be able to just catch the good and great Mr Toreas shouting the words "corrupt syphilitic whore!" and thumping the wall repeatedly in impotent rage.

(and that is the TRUE noble Anuirean spirit; watch and learn folks!)

Yeah and let me just say the Governor really appreciates it when TRUE nobles get all holier than thou with him....

Right there he betrays his peasant spirit; he should be honored that a real noble would deign to speak to him...common-born provincial guilder filth that he is.
