OOC: We have a small problem - Matt is away for the weekend, LARPing. So he can't really do anything, sadly. So, if we want to keep going, I suggest that Duke Hiriele agrees with everything I suggests, unless you guys think I am making him do something he would not do. I'll try not to make those kind of suggestions, but they might slip by me - there, I rely on you Essentially, until Matt returns, I would be describing what both the Duke and I do, subject to DM's veto.

Ooc: unless he agrees with it or gives his consent, such things usually falls to the dm's. This is to avoid godmodding (and players getting pissed at you for sacrificing their units or assets... "of course he'll send his troops into a death trap..." ). I'd suggest suggesting stuff as normal and if it goes against Matt's domains wishes, Jon will have Matt's char or an aa disagree...

OOC: I completely agree, "Godmoding" can very easily turn into BadWrongFun. In this case, we are in a situation where the narrative cannot continue without input from Matt (unless Jon advances it to "and then Duke Hiriele died" ). Anyway, the point is close to moot, as Matt will likely check the forum upon returning tonight or at least tomorrow afternoon.

Don't worry, I feel somewhat certain that even though Brandon Boer is closer to your borders than he was the last time he appeared, he is not gunning for Elenie... 

(On the other hand, these battles in the west may all be a clever ploy to distract us from his impending invasion of your lands... Hmmm  )

Brandon is an awesome dude, no doubt... I'd praise him more, if it weren't for the fact that I sincerely hope he stumbles and falls down the stairs while shaving, accidentally stabing himself repeatedly in his stomach with a broadsword. No routing for the other side!
