Dont feel bad - it will accomplish little anyway and besides we all could have acted differently or interveened.

Indeed throwing of the first rock saw noone trying to stop it - all I did was laughing my arse off OoC.

Now as I see it we are stuck with our choices. Better see if we can get the portal closed and then flee through the Shadow world. We may have a real problem getting back to the daylight world though but perhaps if failing finding an alternate exit, we can wait for a few days and then rush out through the Obelisk and flee as best we can

In our current situation there is little time to prepare; first priority is to stay alive just now - after wards we can prepare a little concerning how to get away and further from there

If you need a respite, how about throwing Dimensional Anchor on the Obelisk? The duration is 1 minute per level, and it's a 4th level spell giving you at least 7 minutes. That might give you several important minutes to prepare whatever you feel like preparing (or the EOM time to commune with Eloéle).

Dimensional Anchor? It might work; not sure if thats what ETN tries while EOM pull their divine favour trick.

Yeah, I usually find myself in the same situation (I *just* got the ability to cast spells, myself and all my LT's aren't that high level).
But seeing our friendly neighbourhood Pontiff in action, I feel that is within his grasp

I just told Bjørn off for "killing" Suris Enlien earlier today - now you can join in on the whine-fest! If you had her as regent instead, you'd be kicking some ass!

She was high-level, she was badass, she was fanatical, she was a hell of a lot of fun to play. And she was mine, so I wouldn't let you have her anyway... mohahahahah!

On a side note, sometimes when I'm a bit sad that I don't get to go anywhere with Orthien, I just read some of the previous adventure threads (like this one, for instance) and then I feel rather relieved instead
