Thanks Linde  ;D

Latest version available. Those who support .xlsx files, (latest MS office), send me an email and I will mail the respective version to you.

I found it on the Army worksheet, but on the Navy worksheet, I can't seem to find an input cell for a unit's "experience" or level (e.g. veteran, skilled, green).

Still got a ways to go, but this is pretty cool!

I cannot find any mention of ships' experience in the Regent's guide. Could you direct me to the section?

Like the idea, some comments.

1.1.  Dark colours make things hard to read - light shading still differentiates and is easier.

1.2. You want a summary pages with all income and expenditure, basically that way each action page is checked and you only need to look at one page to see the full picture - I'll hack out a single unlinked page so you can see what I mean.

1.3. when the DM audits the DO, they presumably sample check and eyeball rather than verifying every data point identity and transformation, the summary should therefore give them the up front global view to identify the skill level of the completer, outliers, etc so that they can identify how long they need to spend auditing the sheet.

1.4.  I'd suggest pasting in a copy of the province line from the P&H for each action - it will immediately say who else might get involved, confirm levels, etc.

1.5. The page tabs need scrolling - I'd shorten the names to DA1, DA2, DA3, FA, LA, CA1, CA2, CA3, etc.

Remember that the sheet has 2 purposes.
2.1. The player can easily see what they are doing/have done and what they have yet to do.

2.2. The DM can quickly identify the action, and verify that it is correct.

The second cannot be under-estimated...

I dont know if I am the only one with problems regarding the validation of the data I put into the cells.... but I am reworking all of the validation on Army and Navy right now

Thanks for the worksheet Linde.

I completed the Player Report Page. Thus I am making the newest version available. Once again, if you want the .xlsx file, send me an email.

To Do:
Try to solve compatibility issues with previous versions and Open Office. Somebody please tell me if the .xls version I upload now works perfectly. I want to understand if it is an issue of nesting (Sometimes older versions of excel suffer with many levels of nesting), or the Open Office just hates me :)

I have asked Niels how the spreadsheet you just uploaded works with Microsoft Excel and it works as intended.
However with OpenOffice.org 2.2 the validation of the cells is buggy.
If it frees some of your time to focus on more important issues I can live with the buggyness intill such time when the  spreadsheet lives up to all the rules.
And at that time I volunteer to convert it to an OpenOffice.org sheet.

I've just looked at it and I found very user-friendly.

and I'm very bad at making DOs :)

For now whoever wants to use the DO excel sheet as an additional tool to help him prepare the DM sanctioned DO, should feel free to do so. I would appreciate some feedback on mistakes i have done on formulas (some of you have already offered advice, and I am going to work on it).

However you should make sure that you do not send the excel official submission of your DO. The official DO is the doc file in the downloads section, as the DMs have pointed out. :)
