What would you do different next time?
« on: January 06, 2009, 11:01:31 AM »
Okay, we should all have submitted or be close to submitting our DO's. And hopefully we have all learnt lessons already...

Let's try sharing them and see if we cannot improve our DO's for our poor DM's....
His Grace Ghorien Hiriele,
Duke of Ghieste,
Grand-Maester of the Highland/Overland Traders,
Viscount of Whyrthe.

I'd make sure to initiate any communication with NPC's way early in the period. To give the GM's a chance to reply...

Read the rules better. Over the years they've changed so many times I've lost track of what is the current rules. Could make for something interesting if I've completely missed something.

Not have ridiculously long action descriptions (hahaha... like that is going to happen.)

I second that! I've filled out the DO to the best of my current knowledge, but I'm sure it's going to be a good lesson in humility to get it back.

Dunno, if a word exists to say "I second that", when you are the third to second that!

Also I wouldn't get banned from my computer at home by my wife so I can only work at my turn on my lunch

I really hope you deserve that... I could not imagine such punishment to be "fair" unless the grievance you've caused is epic in nature.  :D
