DMs player generated workload - A confession
« on: February 17, 2011, 01:17:53 PM »
I have come to the sad conclusion that the amount of DMs workload I generate is too high compared to the direct amount of content I produce for the fellow players and the game. In short, I fear I drown the DMs.
So in an attempt to rectify this I pledge to cut down on dispatches to NPC, and shift focus more towards player-to-player relative to player-to-npc activities.

Wish me luck!

Well you are on the frontier of the playerdoms, so it's not surprising if you're dealing more with NPCs than PCs.
But it's in general easier to obtain access to players, so not a bad idea at all to see what openings there might be.

And placing unanswered NPC dispatches in the DO is also a good idea, with a note that no reply was received obviously.

Apart from that I wouldn't worry overmuch if I were you. You're not drowning us.
