Colors in the P&H

Hi again. Yea, its season for questions. 

On Elinie's page, my vassals are a light yellow color, but Dhon and Riordian are a light green color.

Does that mean that they are not my vassals, but are vassals of my other vassals?

In that case, would it be proper form for me, to address my own vassals, and then let them handle communication down to their vassals?
