Hey I was wondering do vassals automatically pay tribute in this game? or do you have to set it up? also are guilds and what not taxed too?

Vassals usually do pay tribute. If you look at Alamie's entry in the "Heartlands" section of the P&H you'll see that you get 10GB in tribute from your vassals, 2 each from Vraesil and Kirst, and 6 from Kaered. There you can also see your total income which is 52,6; 40,4 from income +10 from tribute, adjusted for stability and variable income.

ah thanks I was just looking at Alamie not the Heartlands. What about taxing guilds and trade? or is that taboo in this game

Guilds and trade are taxed per the tax level and law holdings in each province. The same applies to Temples and Manors. It is quite common for guilds to lend money to regents beyond this.

ok was just checking before I ever said anything. I'm not worried about my finances to much its just good to know where all your moneys coming from lol
