: Mustering time and "Muster slots spend"
: X-IHH/Wallac Isilviere (Kasper) May 25, 2010, 10:08:11 PM
It takes 2 turns to muster Elite units. There rest 1 turn.

There was a thread about this in the Regent Guide forum.

1) Does above still stand?

2) A unit taking 2 turns to muster (like say a knight). Does the unit take up muster slots both the season muster start and the following season? (Province 6 can muster up to 6 units. If mustering 3 units its without consequences for prosperity. Mustering 1 knight turn 67 use 1 slot in turn 67, but does it also use up 1 slot in turn 68?)

Considering that muster slots represent the time and resources needed to train the unit to basic standards i'd be saying it would take 1 slot each season.

I mean it doesn't make sense that your half trained knights stop needing training/assembly facilities when they are half mustered.

1) Yes.

2) Yes. They do count against mustering limit for 2 turns.

Usually not a big issue. And not one I've been spending time enforcing, but for the purist no. 2 would apply.

Splendid.

Another question. In provinces with an uneven number for province level, what is the "safe" amount of units to build without impact on prosperity level? (Say Fairfield province level 5: 2 or 3 units? I have assumed rounding down and so only 2 units)

Round down.
