Phase 3 - Next!

(1/2) > >>

Aeric (DM Matt):
So, domains have now been assigned and we are into Phase 3 of the project! Hooray I hear you all say, hooray!

This phase includes the following

1) Detailing of domains by DM's - standard format for Domain documents, including layout for Secrets
2) Development of DM P&H and standard player facing domain turn documents - including FOW abilities
3) Player additions and character generation - the DM's will issue the domain documents to each player allowing them to add flesh on the bones of before return for Phase 4 additions.
4) Continuation of RG work - look at battle, units and other suggested rule adjustments. Decisions in Phase 4.

If players are quick off the ball with their additions then we should be able to wrap this phase in 14-21 days approximately. I am aware this sounds like a lot of time but the work in this phase is massive and all takes time...

X-Aerenwe/TS (Miloš):
Would you be interested in a web P&H? I could spare a few days to develop something. I'd put it on free hosting which should be ok for 20-25 users. Seems to me like the best way to handle FoW.

X-Osoerde (Alan):
Would it help if players did some of this? For instance, if you gave some of us agendas and a brief outline for what you were expecting then we can take a hand at writing and then perhaps give it to you it edit?

Aeric (DM Matt):
There already is a plan for the players to do some of this! See action 3 on the list!

The intention though is to keep the P&H well away from the players and we have various plans for that. As we resolve how we are going to achieve it we will let you know.

X-Elinie/RiD (Niels):
Making do without the P&H is probably possible... but the derived small rumors and loose information it did provide will, if not handled, create a massive load on the GM's.

Similarly, being able to OOC track events and progress is also unifying, so that it is US who plays, and not individual smaller groups vs. GM.

A distributed knowledge variation could take its place.

I guess my main advice is to avoid being the sole point of information on a 1to1 basis. :-)
