As well as producing huge amounts of dispatchs for RoE I am quite involved in the larp scene in the UK. Specificaly I am currently helping write a new game that will be run at the Oxford University RPG Society and I thought I might let you all take a look :)

What other side projects are the rest of you embroiled in? (Clearly RoE being the most important thing in your life :) )

Holy moly that looks nice! How do we get in on the fun?  ;D

I'm all RoE these days... All fun, no work make Jon a nasty dragon.

Ah well it is a larp. So if you can make the 8 tuesday nights in term time in Oxford we shall squeeze you in :)

Alternatively it would be easy enough to take the same concept and turn it into a PBEM......

*ahem*

Hmm... side project? I'd guess that would be my life, then... When I'm not playing RoE, I'm trying to do some studies and become an effecient web-journalist. (It's important to have your prioritiez in order, eh?  ;D)

Aside from trying to force myself to the gym, and (if the weather ever decides to play nice) go outside and pretend to be an (amateur) photographer, I don't really have time to do much when I come home from work.

I still manage to stack some hours on the couch though... how peculiar. Coincidentally, I just bought my first gaming console ever, a PS3. For once I don't mind that it's raining/snowing  ::)

sigh, I would like to say 'writing Ps Dhoesone' but in truth I barely touch it nowadays, so my 'side project' is commenting on tax policy (as a hobby not work...)  :-[

as side projects I'm running a PbEM settled in Mystara (an OD&D campaign world), I have once/twice month a RPG session based on AD&D second edition rules settled in a homebrew world of mine.

The rest of the time when i'm not at work is divided between gym and my wiife and my 7-month son  ;)

When I am not studying for quantum computation and tractability, I am playing a BR P&P campaign as well as LOTRO (a MMORPG). So right now my schedule is full  :-\

Work keeps me pretty busy,as does the hour-each-way commute.  I get together with some old friends every few months to play a few seasons of our P&P BR game, and play Mage over the phone every few weeks.  My current project is programming a new campaign into an old game called Escape Velocity: Nova, though I've been really bad about making myself work on it recently.

I have just done a short paper on Unni Wikans “Shame and Honour: A Contestable Pair”, from the Man: New Series,  19 (1984), 4, p.635-652 (ISSN: 0025-1496)…..

I need a beer and some BR fun now…
