What is up with Alamie?

I’m tempted to try to take it just to solve the player problem. Both the last Alamie players have gone out high and aggressive just to blows away like dust in the wind.

Last game, it was Aerenwe that was cursed to never keep a player more than a turn or two.  Glad to see Milos has put an end to that this game.

Strange too, as Alamie is not exactly small or insignificant.

Do we have some takers for it, or should we begin recruiting a new bloke?

I would be very very happy with finding a player who stuck with it. I really would. I might even be... *shock, horror*... NICE to them  :o

Hehe, IF Elinie is reduced to rubbles, it might be best if I relocate to "clear the air".

That said, I have no intention of going down. I like Rashid. :)

Lol! Niels likes men...  ;D ;D ;D

(don't mind me, I'm on a cake- and coffee induced giggle-trip)

A little medieval insurgency?

A little medieval insurgency?

What I meant was, that if Rashid were to die and Elinie reduced to Osoerde's pawn under less imaginative Gerad, then I, Niels, wouldn't mind switching to play a different domain.

I do see that it could be interpreted as Rashid going to Alamie to try and take power there... I didn't think of that option.  :o

And what makes you believe that you would loose Elinie?  ;D
Player ain't = character. If your regent goes down, why not consider continuing as his brother - loyal friend of Osoerde  8)

He is a dumb fighter brute. - But lets see what actually happens, before we go further in this particular discussion.

Aye indeed. It's always interesting to see what happens in wintertime.

No, no, feel free to continue.  It improves our morale.   :D

There's no telling what might happen in the near or far future, Niels.  Given how quickly political situations have been shifting recently, for all we know Patriarch Rashid and Archduke Osoer could be strong allies within a year.

What we need here is more Awnshegh.  They always help with that.

No, no, feel free to continue.  It improves our morale.   :D

You shall flail helplessly at the icy wind, as it bears down from North, leaving your fingers numb and faces blistered!

You shall be sick from poisoned wells, leaving you to sip from putrid puddles of snow that you melt over pitiful fires that cannot warm you!

You shall face swarms of arrows, striking from the night, felling helpless friends with fierce barbed heads that leave infected wounds that costs limbs and pain!

Your path shall be harassed by swift riders, striking down any who is unaware for but a second, shadowing your pitiful column as would hyenas track the doomed animal through the desert!

Your food and water shall run out, as your trains cannot be left untended without suffering withering attacks from ambush!

Your morale shall be shattered by the very injustice of your motivations! - Deserters will meet friendly hands and warm soup mere hours after fleeing your encampment!

The very Gods will seem to have cursed your march! - You will falter! - You WILL fail!

How's that for morale?  ;D

Much better!!!

On a side note, can't one of the less important temple/guild domains switch to Alamie?

You should submit that as your war plan.

I have a friend with lots of PBEM experience that I think would prefer to play a guild; simply suits the kind of play he prefers. So perhaps if one of the guild players prefer a landed domain we could make a switch?

Here! :-) If a domain is available, I'm interested to say the least! Where do I apply? :-)

Send Bjørn and me an e-mail or pm from the forum with your e-mail and something about yourself, your BR experience and why/how you would play Alamie.
You can download the latest on the domain from the downloads section.
