Turn #64 - Raid on Pechalinn

(1/1)

DM B:
Word reaches Haes:

Sidhe knights and scouts have been seen in Pechalinn. At least one village has been destroyed.

DM B:
Ser Dhal has arrived in Pechalinn at the head of a small army.

He finds several villages devastated. Hundreds of peasants have fled east or taken shelter within the walls of the towns of Pechalinn. The local militia has been called out and several occasions they have clashed with elven raiders, but failed to do much to prevent their depredations.

DM B:
Ser Dhal is having a hard time doing anything of value; his infantry can do little but guard various strongpoints and the militia has been too badly beaten to be of further value. He tries with some cavalry deployments, but he lack the necessary experience to coordinate between his own men and those sent by Braedonnal (and the later make no secret of their disdain of their new 'general'). In the meantime the sidhe continues to ride across the land, but score no more major victories.

Oh, and the promised MOC templars have yet to arrive. Delayed by procedure and courtly sloppiness it is said.

DM B:
The MOC contingent finally arrives, but by that time there are no more attacks.
