It means you get an additional 2 hp and some skill points. Btw: Do lawyers count as 'human' in terns of the extra skill point for race???

I think we count as a sub-race.  Also it means our alignment auto changes to neutral evil

That means he still has less hp than the average baboon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/baboon.htm). I fight that oddly fitting.  :D
