Let be known that in the absence of baroness of Roesone, the army of Roesone will take all necessary steps to ensure the integrity of Tornilen and order therein. This measure is undertaken in the spirit of agreements between Roesone and Tornilen and is valid only until the clarification of the situation in Tornilen.

X-Haelyn's Aegis/RK (Andy):
Haelyn's Aegis is currently discussing certain matters regarding the legality of the rule by the Swordmage given the apparent renounciation of imperial law and contempt shown for Holy Haelyn, his law and his faithful in the land by certain of her servants.

Should any righteous noble of Anuire seek to establish a claim on the land,s pending her return to answer the charges made and clear her name - or otherwise - the nobles are requested to follow Imperial and Ecclesiastical law and precedent and provide appropriate documentation of their claim over the lands of Tornilen to the senior church of Haelyn in the region - that is to say Haelyn's Aegis - for the court to allow proper review by the appropriate council of nobles and clergy.  Should such claim be made, those nobles seeking right to offer council are requested to provide their details to the Aegis.

Given the importance of not undermining the current crusade against the Swordhawk, or giving cheer to the Shadow currently active in the region, we ask nobles not to make unilateral claims on the land, or otherwise risk inflaming the situation.

His Grace, the Duke of Ghieste, would remind all parties involved in Tornilien that by treaty and history the Duchy of Tornilien stands under the protection of the Duchy of Ghieste and the Militant Order; that the Duchy of Ghieste has a well maintained garrision within the Duchy as was requested by treaty and that all parties will do well to remember that any action taken to make false claim or overthrow the legitmate authorities without legal recourse will be treated with firmly and harshly by those powers there signed.
