And it is finally here. Wallac defrauded CoT money and now, just before end of his pontificate, calls a crusade to cover it :) Or there will be no end of his pontificate? ???
-
Obviously, you do not replace a wartime presi... err... Pontiff. :-)

Maybee I've out of the loop too long but why defrauded? So far the accountenance of the CoT treasury to the best of my knowledge have been privy to the four other Haelyn temples in CoT through the whole periode of Wallac I's time in the office no?

It must be some remnant of Kaven speaking inside of me, but for some reason the mentioning of a Crusade makes me want to pull out a sword and charge of towards distant shores, hell bent on smashing evil.
... I guess it would just look altogether silly if Aubrae did that. Not to mention it would ruin her dress.
-
Well no wonder. You seemed to enjoy waging war on behalf of Avan and his alies; Being a general sure seems to be great fun. Perhaps Avan should send a small contigent of troops and most importantly a skilled commander for more fun to be had?

Being a general sure is great fun... when its in others backyard.

I am sure my LF could give ample advice:....
“Oh Dear, One should explore the estates then, We enjoy a good hunt on occasion Ourselfs. And if it is seldom opportune considering courtly demands We have found that Our crossbow fells orgos in the wild as well as the deer in Our park.
Inquire with Your best tailors, We are sure not only We fit a dress made for battlefield excursions. But do bring Your ladies to attend to any mishap, and the guards to keep the riffraff at bay.
We would recommend days with a slight overcast but no chill.”

Is current Mhor the same character that in RoE 1 ordered another massacre of returning crusaders? Im not that familiar with the history of RoE, but I think I read something like this somewhere.

Daen Wyld did that, not Constantine Mhor - the two cannot possibly be the same person! ::)
As with all things RoE I it's lost in a haze of opinion and hearsay.
One thing is certain; it happened in Cariele. Whoever gave the order, the Carielans carried it out. Or... Well... At least they didn't stop it! Or apologize for it afterwards...

And the Aegis has neither forgotten, nor forgiven...
