Yep I got the final word today I am going to be playing as Alamie. I can't wait to get started. I'll hopefully be able to set my account up for here tonight and create a new e-mail as well. So in the mean time if anyone wants to go ahead and start sending me any IC info you can. Just send it to Les_rentittoday@yahoo.com. I'll update everyone as to what my new account will be when its all up and running. Thanks and can't wait to get this game started.

Congratulations :). So, oficially, I was also added to the 'newbie' list as the new ruler of SRT. Of course, I too cant' wait for the all nasty things I'll be doing to everyone around  ;D (oops, I almost forgot my alignment  ;)).

Welcome boys! Good to have you onboard, here's hoping the Spider River Traders will be run better under Shido than the previous players (who didn't do much at all I'm afraid, so it won't be hard :)

 And as a proper Alamien Duke, I expect when you say "Alamie is officially mine" you mean Tuornen included ;D

thanks. I been wondering something. I play in Lebr 5 and I've noticed that unlike that game and other games I've been in there is not a lot of IC talks through the forums here. Is there a different view on it here. Also where can i find the rules? they don't show on the main web page.

Very interesting. Osoerde is under control from Ghoere while Boeruine's forces move through Osoerde to rid the land of the Balinke (SP) temples and soon seem to be poised to move to go to war with Ghoere for the good of Osoerde. Diem has already invaded Medeore and and been forced to flee. The Houses of Avanil and Boeruine are now joined through marriage. Tourene has invaded Alaime and almost destroyed all of Alaimes forces, before being forced to stop the war by a ruling of the S&C. Though before they did so they pillaged anything and everything they could. And to make matters even better the Gorgon has marched thousands of troops right through Mhor and is now in Alaime. Oh and we just got done with turn 2 :)

 IC talk is kept strictly for the diplomatic summits when several regents meet (and they ask the nice DM's to host it on the forum). We will create a hidden forum for the invited regents.

 So far that has only happened at the latest Sword & Crown.

 The temples are better organized than the rest. They have an organization directed specifically towards diplomatic communication, the Conclave of Temples. However, the nobles have never been able to unite under a common banner since the fall of Michael Roele, not even a diplomatic one, and currently have only agreed to meeting under the truce of Chamberlain Caliedhe Dosiere each four years, at the Sword and Crown in Anuire City.

 Ruins of Empire is called ruins for a reason.
