Well gentlemen, I have good and bad news.
The good news is I've gotten a job as a tourist guide in Egypt. One year contract. I'm going to Sharm el Sheik at the tip of the Sinai peninsula. Come visit me ;D
The bad news is this will give me substantial less time to help out as DM. I'm leaving by the 6th of august.
I'll still be around somewhere, but you're now all responsible for keeping the game going in my spirit. This means cutting Bjørn all the possible slack you can give him and helping out.
I'm expecting you to both think of yourself as well as your favorite DM when you act.
1. If an answer isn't immediately forthcoming, give it some more time. Then resend. Take nothing for granted, including the DM's time.
2. Place as many of your questions as you can in the DO (within the rules obviously). Not in OoC emails.
3. Tune down your expectations for adventures, there probably won't be more than one or two each turn and only the really story heavy ones will get special attention. The rest should go in your DO's.
4. Define it VERY clearly in the subject of your e-mails if you want a DM response.
5. If in doubt, ask in the forum or the other players before you ask Bjørn.
6. Make up your own list of proactive rules and post it here ;D

Maybe.
I'm already getting great help with the P&H from Brandon, and most of you now have a good grip on the rules, so the immediate need for a replacement is not so great.
But looking forward I'll probably need a new aide de camp.

Now that is a nice job! :-) I have been to Sharm, lovely place! ....that trip up to the Moses Mnt was a bit more then I expected ;-)

Seriously though remember that while mummies don't have energy or level drain they can give you mummy rot which can suck just as much.

as far as I know Egypt is full of Russian tourists...I think Libor was meaning you have to handle with many russian so if you're going to learn the language your job will be easier

Yeah... I've been to Egypt. That was in the early springtime though, the weather is perfect that time of year. But august is definitely going to be hot... I'm thankful that I'll be living by the sea :)

The bags are packed, the flight booked, passport is ready. All I have to do now, is get some five hours of sleep, then take the taxi to Copenhagen airport and fly, fly away.
