I'm thinking we should try to put in a deadline before X-mas. There are numerous interactive action going on and several conflicts, and for them to play out I need some preliminary DOs. Need not be the final versions, those could wait until early January, but it would give me something to work with.
Maybe Sunday 20th. What do you think?
-
OK for me.
-
Though I sit in front of a computer most of the day, actual time to write a DO probably will be very limited for me the nearer we get the holidays. Several deadlines loom menacingly in the horizon.
However some preliminary sketch should be doable by the 20th... as long as I can sit down between Christmas and new years, and do something more conclusive then I'm good with it. It's not like I don't know where most of my actions are going anyways. :D
P.s.
All I want for Christmas is a dead Brandon Boer.

20th is fine by me

That's exactly what I'm aiming for.
-
I can probably achieve that. ;)
-
No problem for me. The DO has been more or less complete for months now.
-
I am with Even. My turn is mostly done already.
will we still be switching to a new DO sheet?
-
A new sheet will be made available well before the deadline. I hope.
-
Man how is everyone almost done - I'm still not even remotely done
-
Same goes for me. So many things to deal with before I can chose what to do now and what to do later
-
We only need a rough outline, and its only a draft so you can change at least some of the DO later on.
No panicking please :P
-
Typically, I've got a set of actions planned for one turn by the time I turn in the DO for the previous, simply because I've always got more to do than time to do it in, and one turn's actions usually set up what needs to be done in the next turn. I always try to keep at least one or two slots open for "surprise" items that appear, and almost always have to radically revise it during the next turn before submitting it, but there just aren't enough actions in a season for me to get everything done that I want to.
-
:-) I would be surprised if players are late now as the last DO was half a year ago. This is not a shot-em’ up arcade game but I still think we can try to keep up with the DM at least.
I think I'll do a poll on this ! ::)

Keeping up with the OLD and DECREPIT DM is damn easy!!!

*snicker*

20th should be ok for me too :)

The important part is getting down key actions.
For example; as Elinie, who is involved in war + diplomacy with the wicked Osoerdans they might do something like this:
Regent Actions
Espionage - Creating some nasty incident for Osoerde
Espionage - Gather some intelligence in multiple provinces (realm action)
Diplomacy - Try to enlist aid from more domains
Class Bonus
Diplomacy w/Osoerde
Lt Bonus
Wage War
Court actions
For the realm action
+ other important actions
The point here being that I get something so I can weave together all the action - otherwise it will be hard to make anything sensible out of both war moves and other actions.
