Anyone stating EOM is behind those dreadful events is in error.
EOM in the last seasons had a very cohoperative behaviour: it regularly blessed Mieres' provinces, it aided the Conclave to find the whereabouts of the missing Book of Laws and many others and the Pontiff himself had rewarded EOM for its actions.
EOM now is friendly to anyone, as long as anyone doesn't reveal himself to be an enemy of EOM.
