The Chamberlain administration position covers GB spent on actions (not including tribute/Grant actions and suchlike).  Does it cover GB spent as Influence, or only the base costs of actions?

The Chamberlain reduces both base cost and influence.

Can I have more than one of administrator of same position (be it Seneschal, Steward, Quartermaster of the army, Quartermaster of the navy, Castellan or Chamberlain/Chancellor)?

Like promoting another character to Steward and then have two stewards alternating who is used for the administration from one season to another (depending on what other tasks the characters involved have in that particular season).

Point being more flexibility

No, but you can have an aide.

OoC:

If, for example, the steward of a domain should die, would the steward's aide (supposing that there be one) automatically assume the post of steward?; or would the steward's aide remain an aide (short of a grant promoting him to full steward status)?

Can I have both a Chamberlain and a Chancellor? Different names but they work within same field (action cost)?

What happen if I promote a new steward? The DO where the promotion take place the old Steward carry on with his duties and the following season the new steward take over?

No. You can't have both as its the same position.

You can't promote a new AA to a position as long as there is an existing one in that 'slot'

How do I kick someone from an existing slot and will a "slots" aide automattically take over when an administrator dies or otherwise becomes unavaileble?

You don't.

You can appoint an aid and then promote the aid once the old admin becomes unavailable.

Presumably you can reassign an existing AA - either as a promotion or demotion or just as a switch around 'to broaden your experience in the domain' - you might of course get IC repercussions, but I'd expect that a lot of AA's are used to being 'the right hand of the king' with the specific role held at any time just where the king needs them most.

Of course sometimes the title is theirs by some right - you obviously couldn't play around reassigning the holdings of vassals for example, similarly if I have a grand general or head of an order, I'd be reluctant to touch that sort of position as it has internal politics behind it.

The most likely manner to remove a title bestowed would be through a decree.
Or if you're tactful, informing the fellow nicely first, then decreeing it (your subjects must after all know what is what and up or down by your will).
