Hi,

I've enabled Karma again for RoE II, because it can be a fun feature. It's called Regency here, and you can either 'Bless' or 'Curse' other members (once per 24 hours - tops). You'll need to be a 'Hero' (50 or more posts to use this feature).

The point is to award other members points if you think they've made a good contribution to the forum...made an interesting or funny post, helped you out with a PM or some such.

The reverse also holds true...but cursing should be much less frequent than blessing!

If you start fucking around again, I'll turn the Regency option back off...

There will be no Karma transfer from the old RoE forum.

Generally make sure that you give karma based on the quality of the post, not whether you like or dislike the postee.

We tried displaying positive/negative Karma (regency) for a while, but I didn't like it, so we're back to Karma total. It is either that, or turn it of.

The Regency feature has been removed due to childish behavior on the part of one or more players.

Sad.

Karma is once again enabled.

This time I've added some additional functions; first of all you will be required to state WHY you Blessed/Cursed someone. Users will also get a log of who/why/where their Karma was altered. And the admin (me) gets a log function for Karma use (if I see crap Karma in the log I just delete the entry there and the Karma goes away).

You'll retain existing Karma. No entries will be displayed for existing Karma.

Now, BEhave little ones...
