Probably right but I like the dwarf fluff better. I have also been suggested that a court action would suffice but again I like the dwarven fluff besides a diplomacy action represent a greater effort since it requires both a regent and a court action.

Robhan is also busy and almost incommunicado, but one of his marshals has been waiting for the call.  Armies are another matter, they take time and permissions of various sorts.

My post wasn't censored, I just didn't want to insult a certain noble family which has nixed several actions by carefully hiding the evidence that I needed to find to aid them.

In regard to armies if permissions get to be an issue I am not really going to care - going after the Grey Duke IHH approach along "its easier to get forgiveness than to get permission". I dont exactly know where those armies end but if on someones land that I dont have access to I will not stop - IHH will pay the cost in GB and hope they dont get too mad but IHH wont accept any hindrances but their own deaths

There's definitely two halves to this, as it's shaping up - the mass scale and the adventure scale.

On the subject of armies: Niels, do you have any way of getting armies into the Shadow World?  From what you've said, the action isn't happening on this side of the Veil.  10,000 Crack Knights armed with Holy Avengers won't do any good if they can't get to the enemy.  Commentary from anyone else with access to the appropriate magics is welcome.

On the subject of heroes: Do you have any way of weeding out Manethander's Fifth Column before launching the adventure?  I'd hate to get stabbed in the back as well as the front.

On BOTH subjects: If ANYONE has a way to get Dispel Realm Magic into there, I will pay them ten billion GB.

First of all, what province is it actually taking place in? I assume this info would be in the dispatch, or does the patriarch intend to keep that secret?

Sadly, that is the sort of thing one needs to know a turn in advance. If I had known it in advance, I might have created a ley line. Ley Lines take a full turn to create, I think, so... not really an option.

Or can ley lines actually be created in-turn Bjørn?

I have no known method of crossing over.

Its beyond my resources to weed out the 5th column in time.

The adventure will likely begin by a gathering in Ansien, then a move into the Grey Hills. - I do not think it wise for anyone to travel inside the grey hills to "meet us there" sort of thing. Odd things happen in the Hills.

So let me get this straight.

There are really only 2 realm magic capable spellcasters that can aid against the Grey Duke - the LPA and the HA?

Methinks we might have targets on our backs...

LPA should also be prepared for MoC exploiting the situation for some conversion spells while LPA's focus elsewhere - yet another sacrifice to be made for the greater good. I dont particularly expect my regent and all his AA's to return nor the best part of IHH's templars.

Fact is we could have prepared a lot better but we did not. Now we are facing the consequences and have to try to adjust to them as best we can (or accept the results be they good or not)

But while it last we are probably going to have a hell of a time  ;D

What do you mean, 'might'?   There's a good chance Robbie won't even live to get there at the moment.

Upon hearing of all these efforts the Duchess emissary to the City of Anuire Lauriel Anviraele delivers a note to the Holly Pontiff.

"Our Duchess servant Pervince Millbridge Silversleep, one renowned Halfling of no small amount of skills regarding the Veil and it’s intricate properties, may on the word of the Duchess offer advice and council on Your endeavour, if no direct participation.
We await the honour and joy to be of service to the Ever Most Holly Pontiff Wallac Isilviere.”

Bjørn, the call also went out to Maester Kaleiman. Has he answered it?
