I've become aware that I've informed several of you incorrectly on the matter of advisors.

 You don't need to use the character action of an aa for an advisor action, your court includes generic advisors (hence the reason it is a court action).

 IF you do use an aa for an advisor action, the aa acts in support of said action and may give a bonus or penalty to the DAC (depending on how knowledgeable the character is on the subject).

Well, the question I asked is still valid, just not as valid as another foray into the manethander plot.

And i have at times felt constrained by what i felt my AA's had areas of knowledge about.

No need to change DO though. Play ball.  :)

What remains is the one true restriction: only the first advisor action is free - the rest cost 1 GB and there is also part of the reasons we jump in adventures ill prepared (the rest, I guess, is PC stupidity paired with curiosity)

The rest doesn't cost you 1GB - they cost you one court action.
Now each court action costs you 1GB - but most of the court actions also has a base cost of 1GB in addition.
 Advisor is actually a pretty nice way of spending your court actions without incurring undue expense.

Anyone that just fill their Court actions with meaningless Advisor actions will have VERY bad things happen to them....
