: DM not feeling too well
: DM B October 26, 2008, 07:23:18 PM
Haven't been feeling too well this weekend, so I've concentrated on eating and sleeping...so no updates for a few days now - but I am doing better now, so I hope to have Tornilen (SM) out tomorrow.

Better to get better as quickly as you can - remember to drink fluids.  Feel better!

Better now...and I can't leave the poor Sword Mage out in the cold... :)

Use whatever granny's recipe you may have  ;D
: Re: DM not feeling too well
: X-Hermedhie (Andy) October 27, 2008, 10:04:27 PM
I don't see why the Sword Mage deserves any attention at all.   ::)

: X-Haelyn's Aegis/RK (Andy) October 27, 2008, 10:59:42 PM
Hmm, my work colleagues prescribe 'man-flu' to all ailments, and 'ignore his whining' as a cure all.  I'll stick to get well soon, try chocolate and alcohol.  ;D

A partial save...lots of sneezing and funny fluids out of the depths of the nasal cavity...

Someone needs to make a Prestige-dip for Mettle, clearly.

Me needs pretty sorceress(es) to spell away the badness...

Bjorn keeps getting extraordinary failures. :)

Hope you are feeling better soon!

P.S. Have you considered an exorcism?

P.S. Have you considered an exorcism?

Exorcism, yea. But performed by which temple?

: X-Tornilen/SM (John) October 30, 2008, 10:02:00 PM
People would have you believe that I know a bit about demons, perhaps I could help?

 ;D

No no.. you come to the RCS. We have lots of expertise with the shadowrealm, and the plugging of nasty holes in reality made by such.
Really... if you need holes plugged, the RCS is the way to go!

I think I'm feeling better now,  but this whole illness thing cost me a week of progress. Oh well...
: Re: DM not feeling too well
: DM B November 07, 2008, 05:06:15 PM
Ok, I'm ill again...it's an infection of the sinuses that won't go away. Every time I feel better, the infection flares up. Seems I'll have to go see the doc...anyway, this will delay things again :(

: X-Mieres & SAS/AV (Mark) November 07, 2008, 05:28:56 PM
I know how you feel, plus I can't hear since my infection decided to move into my ears as well.

Since I have a 3 month old my wife has been making me sleep in the basement - which since I have a 3 month old may be a blessing in disguise.

Sympathies on the infection Mark, but congrats on the baby! I've got a three month old too, we can race 'em!
This will probably be the first year I get a flu vaccine, for her sake rather than mine.

The DM has gone ahead and gotten ill right before X-mas. Not very good. Hopefully I'll be feeling better in a few days.

Slightly better now

Note to self: The inventor of the WC (whoever that was) deserves more credit that a lot of other inventors out there...the WC is your friend  :-[

I had similar thoughts saturday. Sometimes one gets to appreciate the small things in life - a WC for instance  ;D

The DM has kindly started passing his ailments to the players.  >:(
At least we have two WCs in this house...
: Re: DM not feeling too well
: X-Roesone/ARR (Robert) December 24, 2008, 07:05:33 PM
Bloody 'ell.. My stomach's been acting up a few days ago (with the accompanying need to visit the toilet every now and then) and now, with only a couple hours before I'm scheduled to engage in a night of heavy drinking I'm feeling a slight nauseating sensation in the bowel region again...

And I thought computer spread viruses only target computers..  ???
: Re: DM not feeling too well
: X-Haelyn's Aegis/RK (Andy) December 24, 2008, 07:15:25 PM
Hmm, I woke up with a raging headache and a mouth that something had died in.  Possibly unconnected to illness on the forum though.

Seriously? I started to feel unwell while you were visiting, but 'the real deal' only occurred as you were leaving/had left. Sure it's not just too much food???

: Re: DM not feeling too well

It is the victorian term for it... very English
: Re: DM not feeling too well

Everyone should speak proper American-english from now on.  It is much easier to understand.

For shizzle!
