Actions always take effect on the following turn. SO the answer to your question is NO.

Actually, if you own a Guild holding, just one, then you get a +2 to the court action that allows you to make 1d6 GB's on finances.

And if you have 9 in court rating, then you are able to take 10 on said action.

It costs you 1 GB and a court action, but you earn an average of 3,5 GB, meaning your net benefit is 2,5 GB.

Now your court costs you 9 GB but with an administrator, the price is slashed by 10%, to a total of 8,1 GB - 2,5 = 5,6 GB net effect for a Court level 9 and 8 court actions pr. round.

So... the only question remains, who among the guilders are NOT already luxuriating in sumptious luxury?  ;D

And secondly, who will sell me a guild holding?  ::)

Clever  ;D

I'm pretty certain that anyone who attempts a constant finance scheme will suddenly see a rise in random events. You are after all getting that money somewhere, it stands to reason that other people are loosing or not earning them. One or two finance actions now and then? No problem. One each turn for two years? Negative effects could be felt in the population.
No free lunch here I'm afraid.

It is also worth remembering that court expenditure is limited by the province level of the province it is based in. That makes it very difficult indeed to get a level 9 court.

But I am very sure we can come to some arrangement Mr Elinie  ;)

And no luxury over here... see us plow our hard earned cash back into investment in the realm. Honest. Now where did I leave my harem of exotic beauties....

There are a series of structures that add to the max court level.

To compare there are VERY few courts with 9+ expenditure around...

Heh.  I noticed that trick a little bit back.  With a Guild, a decent-sized province (like, for instance, my capital in Bellam), and a bit of investment in Construction, it's quite achievable.  I finally, regretfully, dropped the idea - I figured it'd cause my Stability to drop, since such abuse of my positions and the luxury/grandiosity of a huge Court would lead to resentment, corruption, and waste within my domain.  I'm still kicking around some ideas in my head for appropriate flavor/color that would justify a regular, though infrequent, use of the action, though.

Do note, though, Niels, that the Finance action becomes much more difficult with each use in the same turn.  At most you might be able to swing two "guaranteed" uses per season, probably only one - though that would still be of real value.

No doubt to a price only Guilder's could afford...  ;)

And for those who missed it it was the various Palace's that added to your maximum court expenditure.

While the Magnificently Expensive Court adds a +2 modifier to court actions.
