I haven't added in any extensions or moved attachments (i.e. avatars). It's on to of my to-do list - with adding the chat back in on the VERY TOP.

No I don't think so, but you can hide it from the main page by pressing the minus sign next to 'unread posts'.

But I seem to remember that I didn't have it before we migrated... that might just be my brain blocking stuff out though.
