Advantage/Hardiness and Vasals
« on: March 10, 2009, 10:22:09 AM »
Treaties made between domains that give Advantage and hardiness are very beneficial.

I wonder if I have made a treaty with another domain that have vasals if their vasals contribute? Say the Sovereign have 4 levels of Law and their vasal 1 level of law. What hardiness and advantage will one gain from a treaty with the Sovereign?

It's really a question that has to do with the specific situation.
But you can mostly expect that vassals will do as they please - unless you have a specific deal with them OR the liege has a specific deal in place with all his vassals. (F.ex. support the state religion with advantage/hardiness)

A good bet is usually to dispatch them if you're in doubt. Then diplomacy.

It does not apply to vassals; often you will ask the liege to conduct diplomacy with his vassals to ensure that they too comply with the treaty.
