Well, it might be another round of waiting then.

What happened to Medoere, though? Perhaps it has a DM-led plot going on....but I was really looking forward to that domain.

Heck, I cold even enjoy a civil war torn Rorhmarch!

Medoere was eaten by Diemed 40-50 turns ago I think  :o

With regards to Medoere; I need to resolve turn 68 before I know if I'll allow Medoere as a PC domains.

In general; you are on the very top of a very short list of eligible players. Have faith (the the One True God).

Actually since then Diemed (Carvaloen) has had a very good working relationship with both Kaven and the Patriarch of the Celestial Spell... Carvaloen asks them to jump, they go build an airplane, Diem smiles and whenever there is a chance to give away goodies, Medoere gets dibs. :D

Hello,

I'm Cort, and I've heard a lot about this game for many months from my friend Bobby, who's currently the Bellam player.  I've just finished my MBA, and have realized that I have some free time once again.  Having heard so many good things about the game, I thought I'd see if there might be a chance I could join in sometime.

And while I'm new to PbeM and PbP, I have been playing in a BR game IRL for years now, so I'm comfortable with Birthright and role playing in general.  edit: I've also been reminded to mention that I've played a wizard in the IRL Birthright game (and in most D&D games I've played in the last 15 years), and while I'd be happy playing one again, I'd love to make a change and try running a temple.

Thanks!
Cort

I've been bugging Cort to get in on this for a fair while.  He kept insisting he had to finish his distance-learning degree before he'd have time.  Bah.  That's what lunchbreaks and your former sleep periods are for.  But even if he obviously has poor priorities and time-management skills, he's a solid player - I'll vouch for and mentor him as needed.

Meanwhile, to everyone else: he makes my life very frustrating in our tabletop BR game.  I'm expecting you guys to inflict appropriate levels of pain and frustration on him in turn in this one.

By your own admission we should be sending him a complimentary basket of muffins and a shitload of flowers.

It would now seem that we have two domains that are open fro play:

OIT - major temple
IHH - intermediate temple, also holds the Pontificate (could be very challenging)

So, if you have anything to take up with the OIT, Cort is your man.
Remember to help him out, he's been placed in a tough spot to start with...

What do the questionmarks in place of regent's name mean? Who shall we address in dispatches?

Clearly some impending shadow spawn creature.

Why would you address missives for the eyes of the OIT to a shadow spawn?  That seems like a rather circuitous, seeing as I'd only get the message after destroying the foul beast.  Or are you implying that the Orthodox Imperial Temple of Haelyn is run by a shadow spawn?  I assure you, the leadership of the OIT can stand up to any scrutiny.  How would your own court fair?  I am certain I can spare some inquisitors for a visit, if you wish.  Just let me know, it is my goal to bring the glory and light of Haelyn to all! :)
